August 6 question - What is the most unethical practice in the publishing industry?

I don't know:) I think I'll just sit back here and enjoy reading other posts.

Writing update: I finally have beta readers. And there's my page in ig where I post once in a while.

I know I'm a bit late to post. I've been too busy with school.

Leaving some scribbles of mine here:

LITTLE OLD FRIEND

I once had a little friend

Her smile prettier than her flower garland

A tiny voice that said 'I love you'

And a tinier hand that held my little finger

Her name I remember

A beautiful union of four letters

Quite significant to my heart

So it doesn't belong to these pages

I once took her up my arms

Her memories now come to me in swarms

The little dove eyes matched to a princess

Also the contagious smile she posessed

Had brought everyone to her

And all she welcomed with a kind love

For some reason she chose me more

And I chose her forevermore

She might not remember me again

That is how cruel this life will bargain

She was only four when slept on my shoulder

And I was the one to remember our bond

Also the last day of it

She waved goodbye and so did I

But I was the one left with bittersweet ties

A smile still flashes through the old photographs

  4. Hi, Rida! I love the poem you shared, especially the lines, "Her name I remember, A beautiful union of four letters, Quite significant to my heart
So it doesn't belong to these pages." Sometimes I miss the challenge of busy school days. You never think you'll get through them, and then they're gone. Treasure them! Hugs to you!
