November 5 question - When you began writing, what did you imagine your life as a writer would be like? Were you right, or has this experience presented you with some surprises along the way?

When I began writing- writing in the sense that I decided to write a book, I was eleven. I imagined that if I could write something brilliant, get someone to edit it, I could publish it and have my book everywhere- the way we see Harry Potter in every nook and corner. I thought I could host events, talk about my book, be the celebrity in the family/town/friend circle and be really cool.

But then reality struck.

I realized that people don't even care about books and even less about a no-body writer. I realized that perhaps being an actress was even more easier. I thought being an actress was impossible all my life but now I know that being a writer is even more bad.

If a picture could be my answer...here it goes

And where am I right now?

Just on some mails by two teenagers who're beta reading for me. Great:)

Share my work if you find the relatable, inspiring and artistic. I am a fifteen year old writer who aspires to become a published author one day!

  2. Sometimes we grow up believing our words will find the world the moment they’re born… and then life teaches us this quiet truth... that stories choose their own time, their own wings… and we just keep writing, even when the room feels small...

Your honesty here sits soft but strong
Keep nurturing these pages... the ones being written and the one you’re living
Every writer begins in silence... and then one day, the world listens

Keep going, you’re already on the road

  3. Writing and publishing what you write is hard but not impossible. Don't give up on it. Fifteen is way too young to give up on writing goals.

  4. You're young. Don't give up! It took me writing 3 novels (after I turned 40) to write one good enough to be worth publishing. Now I'm multi-published and working on writing number 8.
